Greyson is everyone's friend! In fact, he is so easy-going, people sometimes think he is more capable to taking care of himself than he really is. Here's his story. When he was a kitten, he was surrendered to a local shelter, then neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and adopted! Normally this would be a good thing. Well, after he was in his new home for a few days, he started going to the bathroom where he shouldn't. The new owners apparently did not know what to do, so they put him outside one day, and when they went to look for him, he was gone. Well, somehow, he showed up at an apartment complex in Derby. The previous owner was contacted and agreed to surrender him to Country Cats. It turned out that Greyson had a very stubborn urinary tract infection. After a few rounds of antibiotics and a month of eating low-pH food, his urine was finally normal again. So, Greyson needs to eat a special diet of low-pH food probably for the rest of his life. This is really a small sacrifice given Greyson's sweet and interactive personality. He would probably do best in a home with a moderate amount of attention, and would be fine with children, other cats, and probably dogs too. Because he is so naive, an indoor home would be the best for Greyson.
